Aftter all... I'm just a girl; sitting in front of a computer screen...

Marlene Dietrich (1930s)
So, It was raining today (surprise, surprise) and this is one of those songs that are really nice to listen to when there’s nothing to see out the window but rain. :)

This morning I decided to take a well earned break from college life and stay home, watching movies, drinking tea and waving goodbye a weekends worth of alcohol abuse. I’d just arranged all the cushions on the couch, curled up in my favourite fluffy blanket and my cup of tea was mere inches from my lips when the doorbell rang. My first instinct was to pretend I wasn’t home, but sadly out of fear of being rude I answered the door. Low and behold, It was Jehovah’s Witnesses. I listened out of polite curiosity, and even took one of their magazines.
Now, for the past couple of hours that magazine has been bugging me. Where had I seen it before? And then it hit me. I’d seen that cover time and time again in a family friends’ bathroom.
It’s funny how the simplest things, like a person’s bathroom reading material, can change your whole impression of them.
This i how It works
you’re young until you’re not
you love until you don’t
you try until you can’t
you laugh until you cry
you cry until you laugh
and everyone must breathe
until their dying breath
